The Meriden Estate regeneration project is nearing completion. With the majority of the landscape now implemented, we decided to head to site prior to completion and handover. On this project we worked with Mulalley to create an asset for the community to be owned by Watford Community Housing. This infill development and regeneration project, which will provide 133 residential homes and new retail space, also provides a multi-use area that can be used for markets or increased parking facilities, a community garden within the extra care facility with the opportunity for vegetable growing and a new public play area.
Having worked on this project from the planning proposals stage, it is encouraging to see a nicely implemented landscape which we hope will be enjoyed and well used by the local community.
