It’s great to see works progressing at Manningtree Park in Essex.
Liz Lake Associates were appointed to create a high-quality residential scheme for 483 new homes set between the market town of Manningtree and Mistley village. The Landscape proposals take inspiration from the locality, respond sensitively to the surrounding open countryside landscape and fit comfortably within its context. Where sensitive views are afforded, mitigation will be incorporated to reduce visual impact with surrounding residential areas such as the recently implemented Lawford Green to the western boundary.
The landscape-led scheme incorporates large areas of public open space, trim trails, SuDS features and village green landscape. The scheme was developed collaboratively with the client, architect, engineer, and ecologist to create a high-quality development.
We’ve been involved from the early conceptual stage through to construction, including preparing information and attending presentations and meetings with the local council, preparing the Design and Access Statement, and producing the detailed tender & construction drawings for the site.
