Liz Lake Associates were appointed to produce a Landscape & Open Space Statement to support a hybrid planning application for the construction of a new high quality technology park on the edge of Cambridge.  The application was initially refused in 2021 and was overturned through an appeal with LLA’s support. The strategic masterplan includes a contemporary and sustainable public realm with an outdoor working space, café, and outdoor sports area proposed within the park.

The scheme is contextually integrated to reflect the high quality and consistency of the existing Peterhouse business park whilst creating a distinct sense of place. The design carefully considers the sensitive boundaries situated on the edge of the Cambridge Green Belt, as well as intgrating the development with the adjacent agricultural land to the South and East.
