Springstead Village, Cherry Hinton is a mixed-use, sustainable community for Cambridge and the surrounding district. The development consists of up to 1,200 homes clustered around a new local centre, creating a walkable neighbourhood surrounded by public open spaces with dedicated cycle/pedestrian routes, play spaces, and public realm.

LLA were appointed to develop the landscape led scheme which includes the infrastructure parks, green corridors and also parcel specific landscape design. The scheme was developed collaboratively with the client, architect, engineer, and ecologist to create a high-quality residential development.

Our involvement has included early conceptual development through to detailed design & construction, including preparing high-level information, attending presentations with the local authority, preparing Design and Access Statement for planning submission, and producing detailed tender construction drawings.
